Just one day before the 55th anniversary of the Society of Historische Kuranlagen und des Goethe-Theater, the Georg-Forster-Haus residents and staff members explored the Goethe town Bad Lauchstädt together. We took the bus from Halle (Saale) directly to Bad Lauchstädt, where the next activity on our agenda was a guided English language tour of the historical spa complexes and the Goethe-Theater. Impressed by the beauty and elegance of the health establishment, the park and the theater, the party stopped by at the Lindenhof restaurant and enjoyed some excellent German dishes. Before returning to Halle (Saale), we attended the performances of baritone Tobias Berndt and pianist Daniel Heide as part of the classic music recital “Dichterliebe op. 48” by famous composer Robert Schumann.
