International Guesthouse

Our guest house offers you and your relatives a homelike ambience for the time of your research stay at MLU, which invites you to live and work. Our rental units and common rooms offer you exactly the comfort you need to concentrate on your research and to get to know the country and culture.

Depending on your needs, the Georg Forster House offers you residential units of different sizes. All rental units are fully furnished and have their own bathroom with shower.

The Georg-Forster-Haus is located directly in the center of the city of Halle and is only a few minutes away from the MLU’s main campus and the Market Square. You can reach the university’s institutes comfortably and in a short time by foot, bicycle or train. In the neighborhood you can expect numerous cultural and leisure facilities such as opera, theater and cinema as well as restaurants and bars.
In addition, you will find several shopping facilities and medical practices in the immediate neighbourhood.
Halle is one of the greenest cities in Germany and also offers you ideal recreational areas with the near to the Saale.
