On May 22, 2023, we went for a walk from Georg-Forster-Haus to Würfelwiese, a green oasis in Halle (Saale). We brought along our picnic rugs and got cozy on the ground while enjoying some local and international snacks. On such a nice day with summery temperatures, we could not resist being active and sporty as well and refrained from slouching lazily. Some of our guests discovered their innate talent for bocce ball or impressed the student assistants with their Frisbee skills. All in all, this afternoon full of inspiring conversations and pleasant music was the perfect opportunity to get to know each other better and to brace ourselves for the upcoming summertime with lots of further picnics, hopefully.
